Steve Yzerman appears to be the only GM working today as he trades Carter Ashton for Keith Aulie. Burkie must have something in mind because this is a trade for the future for Toronto, Ashton looks like a keeper but may not help for a couple of years. Another hockey trade that doesn't affect either teams chances now but helps both teams in the coming years since Leafs need more offensive talent moving forward and T-Bay is blessed with lots of offensive prospects but is lacking in youth on the defense. This trade's winner won't be determined for years.
TSN finally gets on the board breaking this trade.
