Oilers enjoy enduring bond with Joey Moss

EDMONTON - His face crinkled into a smile as he neared his destination. His pace quickened, his patience waned. Joey Moss had been waiting weeks to catch up with Andrew Cogliano.

Moss's old pal had been yanked out of his world and traded from the Edmonton Oilers to the Anaheim Ducks in the off-season, breaking a bond first forged in 2007. But Moss wasn't the only one itching to reconnect, Cogliano was just as anxious. http://www.edmontonjournal.com/sports/hockey/edmonton-oilers/Oilers+enjoy+enduring+bond+with+Joey+Moss/6124680/story.html

Shacks' Take:  This may be one of the few feel good stories I cover so if you haven't heard the story of Joey Moss the equipment technician for the Oilers' who has down syndrome, it's a good read.  He's been around since Gretzky's days in Edmonton and they're still close.  Good story, good read.  Check it out if ya just want a smile.
