This just in from ESPN reporter Jesse Rogers, Patrick Kane of the Blackhawks vowing revenge against both the Edmonton Oilers and their fans. The two teams meet Thursday night. "We're excited to play, especially [coming off] last time," Kane told Rogers. "The fans were chanting 'we want ten, we want ten'. Nice to get payback. "You definitely want to get some payback after the last two games, 9-2, and they beat us 4-3 in our own building." http://blogs.edmontonjournal.com/2012/02/01/patrick-kane-vows-revenge-on-oilers-and-oilers-fans/
Shacks' Take: Of course Oiler fans are going to chant and have fun when they're team is destroying one of the elite teams in the league. Who wouldn't? Just as obviously the Hawks want to atone for their horrible showing. If I was a gambling man, which I am, Bodog might get a couple of sheckels in a parlay that includes Chicago winning. I doubt they win by 9 – 2 but I like a pissed off Chicago's chances against the Oil.
