Sedin Thinks Slump is Teaching Moment


Flashback about a year ago. The Boston Bruins got scorched on March 19 by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
They had poor defence, spotty goaltending and looked slower than pond water.
That 5-2 loss was the Bruins' sixth in seven games. The chances of doing something in the playoffs? Trending in the wrong direction.  More…
Shacks’ Take:  The more they slump the more I like the Sedins.  Staying calm in the face of mounting pressure is one of their best traits.  The fact, the Sedins acknowledge this is all just talking points until the playoffs start show they understand what’s really important and where their focus is.  If the Sedins perform next month all will be forgotten, if they continue to struggle we will have all summer to discuss this ad nauseum.
