Sedins think slump nothing to be concerned about

Henrik Sedin doesn’t recall the last time he faced a regular season scoring slump, much like the one he’s mired in now.
And really, who can?
The usually consistent Vancouver Canucks captain is on a five-game skid, his longest funk since December 2003 when he went eight contests without a point. Since then, he’s had the odd drought, but only in the post-season. Twice he went five games without a point in the 2007 playoffs and again in last year’s Stanley Cup final.
But those were different, against the same foe strategically focused on shutting him and his brother Daniel down.  More…

Shacks’ Take: This is one thing I like about Hank and Dank, they don’t let slumps bother them.  Slumps happen, there are times when the bounces aren’t going in but they usually will eventually if you stick to the plan.  Since the Canuck's season will only be measured by what they do in the playoffs it’s probably best they have this slump now.
