Brandon Lloyd signs in New England – Fantasy Take

But once word came down shortly after 8 p.m. ET that there was a new name to add to the list -- big-play receiver Brandon Lloyd -- the outlook was drastically altered. Lloyd is the playmaking receiver the offense has been missing, not to mention a big name, which always adds a layer of excitement for those following the team.
The addition of Lloyd was the exclamation point to the team's busy opening five-day stretch of free agency, from which one conclusion can be drawn: Bill Belichick isn't messing around.
And something tells us he's not done yet.  More…

Lloyd could really help a lot of fantasy teams
this season.
Shacks’ Take:  This is an intriguing pairing.  Lloyd is an excellent deep threat with amazing hands.  Om Brady throws a pretty good deep ball so this could work nicely.  Brandon Lloyd also enjoyed a stellar season working in new/old Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels’ offense in Denver so he will have a clear comfort level with what the offense requires.
Early on I would consider Lloyd a definite top 25 WR with the potential to sneak into the top 10 depending on the chemistry he develops with Brady.  Love this move for both sides and I’ll definitely look to add Lloyd to my teams if the price is right.
