Murphy proves he is laziest blogger in Vancouver

With both of last year's Cup finalists suffering through a slump with the playoffs nearing, it's becoming clear that mental and, or physical fatigue is likely a big reason why the Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins are having troubles finding their A-game right now. So, instead of writing my own blog, I decided to steal from Bruins beat writer Joe Haggerty. Some creative license was needed to make it all work, but there is no question there are similarities between these two clubs right now. Thanks Joe!

Shacks’ Take:  I’ve often maintained Murph is the laziest blogger working for the Canucks, hey he’s a TV guy, I guess we should be thankful he writes at all. This article proves it beyond a doubt.

Usually Murphy writes a blog about every month, which means he should have plenty of time to come up with interesting tidbits to give us considering his inside access.  Instead his pieces are usually as superficial and unresearched as possible.  It honestly makes me wish Sportsnet hired a writer to follow that team who was interested in writing, but I digress (Murph can keep his regular job. Murph doesn’t even write this one he just steals a Boston article and crosses out Boston and puts in Vancouver since they’re suffering the same ills at the moment.  Sure I get the humour in looking at the parallels of the two cup finalists from last year but c’mon Murph, is it so hard for you to write you can’t pen your own stuff?  Oh well, at least he’s consistent.
