Willes indulges in Goon review and self-absorbed moments

I think I now understand how a hockey movie gets made.
First you get Vancouver's Evan Goldberg - Superbad, Pineapple Express and a made-man in the Judd Apatow-Seth Rogen family - and Jay Baruchel - another Canadian with several successful come-dies on his resumé - to develop the script.
This is what they say in the movie world. Develop the script. That's one of the things I learned.  http://www.theprovince.com/entertainment/movie-guide/Goon+strikes+chord+with+this+letters/6232295/story.html#ixzz1nscMQIXy
Shacks' Take:  You know I wrote an article about the Canucks yesterday, yet when I submitted it they chose Tony Gallagher's article for publishing and not mine.  We wrote about the same topic, yet the Province told me my idea that my idea of  Zack Kassian being the next Cam Neely wasn't original enough.
Life's full of disappointment, Ed. Get over it.
