VJax had one of the top 7
QB’s in fantasy football throwing to him in Phillip Rivers and despite Josh
Freeman’s big arm and potential, he’s no Rivers. Freeman also has already established
chemistry with Mike Williams and Kellen Winslow jr. so it will be interesting to see how he
meshes. Jackson could still become the
number 1 in Tampa while he was always the number 2 option in San Diego behind
Gates so he has the potential to be even better. Jackson was at the bottom of the top 10 WR’s,
now I would likely rank him at the bottom of the top 20 with the potential to
rise based on pre-season results.
Garcon had established
himself as the clear number one in Indy and had started to creep near the top
15 despite a terrible QB situation, now he joins a completely dysfunctional
franchise with a rookie QB. Fortunately
the rookie QB has the potential for great things. Garcon looks like he will be the number one
option in Washington and if RGIII ends up the QB as he’s likely to, his
athleticism will ensure single coverage on most plays. Garcon has the potential to be as high as a
top 10 WR or a complete bust considering all the unknowns. He will definitely be a WR#3 on draft day
with huge upside potential.
