Washington
forward Alex Ovechkin and Pittsburgh defenceman Zbynek Michalek will both have hearings
with the NHL today following incidents in yesterday's Capitals-Penguins game.
My Take: A couple of years ago there was a lot of talk
about Ovechkin’s reckless ways. He seems
to have cooled it quite a bit but he may still need reminding. He’s likely to get at least 1 game but not
much more due to his stature in the league.
Michalek is a1st time offender so a fine will likely suffice.
