Cundiff shanked a chip shot wide left to give New England a 23-20 victory
over Baltimore in the AFC Championship Game. The surprising finish helped the
Patriots advance to Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis to face the New York Giants
on Feb. 5.
My Take: What a great game to start Sunday. Poor Billy Cundiff. Shanks an easy kick he’s probably made a 30
times in a row. New England’s D was better than their O for the first time all
year. Joe Flacco may get off the hook
because all the attention was on the kicker but he still only produced 20
points (alright shoulda been 23). The
Ravens still need to examine their offense in the off-season before their
window closes.
