Sportsnet gets the Scott trade from Chicago to New York

Chicago must really be down on Scott because they are short on d-men yet shipped him out.  Only getting a 5^th means this guy must be awful.  Must be a 7^th or 8^th d-man for New York.

 

We took away the Mottau trade from Sportsnet because it was all part of the Rolston deal they already got credited for.  This restores the 2 scoop lead.

TSN reports Zanon to Bruins

A depth move for Boston again, I like that Chiarelli has re-enforced his squad for the stretch.  No one else seems to be but Nashville so good on the Bruins for being ctive.

 

TSN gets another scoop be it as boring as this one.

Sportsnets break Mottau to Islanders/TSN breaks Gaustad to Preds

Sportsnet beat TSN by seconds on the Mottau trade.  Honestly, I don't know much about Mottau but Boston's just tweaking things.  Gaustad gives Nashville a big strong centre which will make them even tougher to play against.  Nice adds for both teams.

Sportsnet Kypreos strikes again – Reports Rolston on way to Bruins

Rolston was on waivers two days ago so he could have been had for nothing.  My guess is this is a salary dump by New York and straight depth move for Boston….Yawn.

I'll give this one to Sportsnet even though you can file it under a no news thing.

TSN’s MacKenzie reports Winnick and Galiardi on way to Sharks – Sportsnet confirms it.

San Jose feels they need to get bigger up front especially with players like Couture getting pushed around. 

TSN first reported Winnick was likely moving to San Jose, Sportsnet confirmed it but TSN was the first to realize Gagliardi was in on the deal. We’ll give this one to TSN.
